Rockwood Beagles, Keller Texas, Breeding and showing Champion Beagles

Rockwood Beagles is a small kennel located in Keller, Texas, northeast of Ft. Worth. Our love of the breed has led us to strive for its improvement. We are dedicated to developing a line of beagles with the finest conformation, health and temperament. To that end, we breed very selectively. We home-raise our dogs with the utmost love and care. Occasionally, we have puppies available to sell to carefully screened pet and show homes.

NOTICE - COMMON LANDSCAPE PLANT EXTREMELY TOXIC!

The Cycad Palm (commonly known as the Sago Palm) is a landscape plant that is very common in the South. All parts of this plant are EXTREMELY toxic to dogs, with the seed containing the greatest concentration of toxins. Ingestion of the Sago Palm has at least an 80% fatality rate!

Onset of signs of poisoning occurs from a few hours to a day or so. The most commonly reported signs are vomiting and diarrhea (with or without blood) followed by lethargy, depression, liver failure and death. There is a chance of recovery with immediate and very aggressive treatment.
